Frequently Asked Questions

How is TV Forecast different to a TV guide?
TV Forecast is TV show centric; it starts with the assumption that you already know what TV shows you like to watch. A conventional TV guide is for finding out what's on TV right now. TV Forecast is for finding out when your favorite TV shows are going to be on TV.
Where does TV Forecast's data come from?
TV show schedule information is sourced from TVRage.com. Artwork is sourced from the iTunes Store where available.
Does TV Forecast include repeats and specials?
TV Forecast only ever displays information about new episodes. This includes episode specials.
What exactly is time zone correction?
TVRage.com includes time zone information with (almost) every TV show. This information specifies the time zone in which the TV show is originally broadcast. “Time zone correction” means accounting for the difference in time between the broadcast time zone and your time zone. This isn't (necessarily) the same time that the TV show will air where you live. It is just an accounting of the difference in time between your time zone and the time zone in which the TV show is broadcast.
Are there any plans to port TV Forecast to another mobile platform, like, say, Android?
Nope.
