Helmet Power-up

Here is a short demonstration of the purpose of the Helmet Power-up in THE INCIDENT.
The basic idea is that the helmet will prevent Frank from being hurt but at the same time it will destroy any projectile that lands on it.

When is this game coming out?
Will there be a iPad version later on?
Looking good, only just discovered your game thanks to a mention on FB by visitthevillage. One thing I would say – which probably means a pain to change, sorry – but to me the dust clouds when an object hits Frank look more like boulders. Maybe making them a bit more ‘puffy’ would give a little variety.
Excellent so far though, and your developer diary entries are a fascinating read. Keep up the good work!

@Josua Pedersen The game will be out in the “next few months”. We are very eager to release it but we’re both perfectionists.
As for an iPad version, I’m hoping that version 1.0 will be a universal binary. Nothing concrete to speak of, but we do indeed have iPad in our sights.
@Daniel That’s because it’s actually a ‘rubble’ cloud. One of the rubble ‘particles’ is actually a large boulder. The effect has been tweaked a bit since this video and it looks quite a bit better now.
