I think the only thing holding me back from purchasing the iPhone app is what was touched upon in this review: "One feature I’d love to see is a way to sync your shows between the Dashboard, Web, and iPhone versions." I know a number of people that keep their favorite TV shows already in a list on tv.com - myself included. Perhaps you could contact CNet and find out if they would be willing to work with you on a syncing protocol with their account management system. At the least, a simple XML presentation of the episode list made available via their existing authentication system would be handy.
