Magic Tree
November 21st, 2006
This here is my first ever upload to YouTube. It’s a time lapse video of a magic forest growing.
Jess bought it sometime last week and we she put it together over the weekend. The box claims it will grow before your very eyes. This is true, but only if you’re prepared to stare at it for 10 hours without blinking.
I set up the camera to take a shot every minute using Canon RemoteCapture. This neat little app let’s you configure just about every setting, but unfortunately not the focus. Still, I think it worked out fine.
Cool! when we had one the boys poked and prodded to such an extent that it never really looked that good as all the little bits fell off! I started down the track of getting PTP uver USB going for the boys camera do do some stuff like that except none of the cameras that we have allow pictures to be taken over usb! broken on purpose!
Awesome! Once I had the similar item which is a bamboo pig, about the size of a standard mug. The only thing mine does is the pig will become hairy in three days after pouring water! Of course, on it’s back…
